Special Services

Claiborne County School District is dedicated to providing quality support and services to all scholars within our district who are identified as being Intellectually Gifted and as having a disability under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act of 2004.

The Office of Special Services provides students with disabilities a Free Appropriate Public Education that emphasizes specially designed instruction and related services to meet the student's unique needs in their least restrictive environment. We strive to engage parents, communicate effectively with all stakeholders, and utilize community resources to prepare students for post-secondary education, employment, and independent living.
